It’s nice having a comfortable chair in front of a working computer again.  Spending time catching up on news, getting upset at all the political garbage.

The computer finally went into the shop — after a reformat and using just Windows drivers, it had to be a hardware problem.  They had it almost two weeks and never could identify the problem because everything was testing good most of the time.  In the end, they gave up and replaced the hard drive, RAM and motherboard.  They never complained about the extra hardware I had installed (including some of the RAM they replaced).  They just fixed it all under warranty 2.5 years after I bought it.  And I also bought it for a good price.  So if you are local to Ventura County and are looking for a good computer shop, try All-City Computers in Camarillo.

Don’t expect much here for a while because I’m still going off camping and trying to sell a house.  The 20,000 pound Mountain Table (construction pics here and here) is done, so I have to go make some music for the Mountain Party before I head up there.
